Biography

Frank Gladstone has taught production design classes at the Art Center College of Design, storyboarding for UK Creative Skillset.animation and film classes at Woodbury University. He has been working as a professional animator, producer, director, writer and teacher for more than 50 years. Currently, he is working on a short film for UNICEF and helping develop an animated series.

His feature film credits include the DreamWorks productions of The Road to Eldorado, Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas, and Shark Tale. Prior to his tenure at DreamWorks, Mr. Gladstone was a producer at Warner Bros.Feature Animation a manager of training at Walt Disney Feature Animation where he was instrumental in setting up recruiting and traing programs for Disney´s Orlando and Paris studios.  While there, he worked with production crews on Rescuers Down Under, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, The Lion King, Pocahontas, and Mulan. Additionally, Gladstone was has been actively involved in bringing independent animated projects such as Millenium Acttress and Ghost in Shell 2. His other screen credits include executive producer for Walter´s Chrismas and director on feature The Hero of Color City.

Frank Gladstone has generated a wide range of courses and helped train hundreds of people who now work in the animation industry. Besides his studio credentials, he has spoken about animation, animation history and cinematic fundamentals at secondary schools, colleges, studios and professional guilds throughout America, in Europe and Asia.
