The Ľudovít Fulla Award is given for an outstanding work which significantly contributed to the development of Slovak visual art for children and youth. The Visual Arts Fund, Slovak IBBY Section, and BIBIANA, International House of Art for Children awarded this year Ivan Popovič for his timeless literary production for children and youth which excels at its simplicity of illustrations and extraordinarily powerful ideas.
