From Hand to Hand

This international exposition of works by fifty visual artists is about how fine arts help the needy. 
The project was prepared by the artists Nana Furiya (Japan) and Peter Uchnár (Slovakia) and carries a highly humanistic message. This event was sparked by the recent tragic circumstances in Japan and it answers the following question: How can art help people in times offering nothing but feelings of emptiness? In addition to its artistic mission, the international exhibition of works by 50 artists from various countries (Japan, Slovakia, The Netherlands, Belgium, and Italy) also pursues a secondary objective: raising funds for charitable purposes for casualties in Japan affected by the disaster.

The first stop of this travelling exposition project was Bologna (Italy) where it was presented in Museo Civico Medievale during the International Children’s Book Fair 2012.
