International competition and presentation of exlibris, with 170 authors from 25 countries, was organised in co-operation with the (former) Ministry of Foreign Affairs Eduard Kukan. Seventy little graphic letters by Shigeki Tomuru from Japan, holder of the Grand Prix 2nd Triennial of Exlibris 1998 award, were presented as well.
