The Ľudovít Fulla Award is given for an outstanding work which significantly contributed to the development of Slovak visual art for children and youth. Based on the proposals of the jury, the Ľudovít Fulla Award 1998 was given to the illustrator, academic painter Kamila Štanclová for her cultivated, illustrative, imaginative, and figurative perspective which is an asset for illustrations for children.
