The BIB is accompanied by various events. One of them is a seminar for beginning illustrators from different countries: BIB-UNESCO Workshop of Albín Brunovský. It was established in 1985 by the BIB Secretariat in co-operation with UNESCO and Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava. It is primarily designated for young artists from countries of the so called third world.
