At Christmas Dinner

The exposition presented Christmas traditions in Slovak households, especially in folk backgrounds during the second half of the 19th century and first decades of the 20th century. It shows traditional decoration of rooms, Christmas trees, table settings as a symbol of family, and bethlehem miniatures from the History Museum at Slovak National Museum collections. The exhibition was accompanied by the programme With Magician next to Tree. Authors of the display: Magdaléna Mrázová, Jasna Paličková.
