The exposition presents a collection of Czechoslovak works nominated for the Biennial of Illustration Bratislava 1989. It presents a qualitative spectrum of our illustrations, standards of which vary from average to above-average. In addition, it catches the variety of visual art ideas and attitudes that form contemporary form of Czechoslovak illustration in children´s books.
