Children´s Book Day 2014

The capital of the east (Košice) was the setting for this year´s celebration of the Days of Children´s Book. Thirty popular Slovak authors of children´s literature arrived to Košice to actively participate in the celebrations. Each year, the main initiators of the event are the Slovak Section at the International Union for Children´s Books (SkBBY), and BIBIANA – International House of Art for Children, Bratislava. This year, the Library for Youth in Košice specialising on works with children´s book and young readers organised the event. The celebrations were sponsored by the mayor of Košice – Richard Raši.
