On Wings and Winglets

An interactive exhibition on the kingdom of birds is both instructional and amusing. Children and adults find an abundance of interesting information not only about records but also the most unusual things in the realm of birds. Children get answers to many questions in a playful way: they can learn to identify bird silhouettes, footprints, feathers, eggs and nests of various species; they can test out feeding chicks or the wings of an albatross; and admire real size penguins or bird houses. The exhibition is integral part of the project Records and Unusual Things in the Animal Kingdom designed by the Centre for Family and Social Care from Ostrava, Czech Republic.
