BOOK FEAST 2018

is an open-air festival of reading. It is organised by Bratislava-Staré Mesto, BIBIANA, The International House of Art for Children, Centre for Children's Literature, Reading, and SK IBBY (Slovak Section of the International Union for Children's Book) and civic association OZ Fanfáry in cooperation with the National Culture Centre, libraries, schools, and NGOs and initiatives dedicated to the reading of children. Part of the program are attractive forms of reading, performances of actors, writers, illustrators, happening activities, creative workshops focused on reading, thinking and working with books, paintings and words, reading and recitation, theatrical performances of stories of children's books, unusual forms of dramatised reading, short puppet shows, reader puzzles.

In 2018, the Book Feast will be held under the topic Books can bring you further! and will be held on May 26, at Hviezdoslav Square in Bratislava from 3 pm to 7 pm.
