The Star circle of the most beautiful books of the Czech Republic, Germany, Poland, Slovakia and Switzerland is an international exhibition on the occasion of the 55th anniversary of the competition for the Most Beautiful Czech Books of the Year. He works with the book as an object of beauty, a quality craft and work of art, and offers the possibility of an international comparison of two years of winning books (2018 and 2019). Through five works of art by Jan Hendrych, Krištof Kintera, Petra Pešková, Michal Pustějovský and Jindřich Zeithamml, he also thematizes the moment of judgment, the complexity of decision-making and the dangers of cult. From the Star Circle is a game of beauty, judgment and doubt, a show of beautiful books and an exhibition of contemporary art at the same time.
