The exposition presents works by Marcell Jankovics who is a leading person in the world of animated movies. The presentation shows works by Marcell Jankovics, one of the key personalities of Hungarian animation. Jankovics’ strong source of inspiration is Hungarian history, folk motives and folk tales which are presented in his movies using new cinematographic language. Marcell Jankovics was nominated for the Academy Award for his film „Sisyphos“ (1974).
