GLOSSARY FROM POEMS

The authors will introduce their new book “Glossary from Poems”, reveal something about the secrets of music and the imagery of poetic text and give advice on how to write a poem. Guidance – J. Kaščáková (For pupils of primary school grades 3 and 4)LAUNCH OF THE BOOK “GLOSSARY FROM POEMS”Sometimes it may seem to children (and adults alike) that life is not really a “a poem” (meaning “a breeze” or “piece of cake” in English). However, poetry has a firm place in a person's life from the earliest childhood. That is why the book “Glossary from Poems” was created - an unconventional bedecker-guide through poetic genres and artistic means. The authors Jana Juhásová and Silvia Kaščáková will present the process of the book's creation, introduce its content and form and finally read some of the poems and entries. Come to “have a look” at poetry with us… and we will gladly answer your questions as well. The musical guest of the event will be Ukrainian singer and singing teacher Mila Medvedovska. We recommend the “Glossary from Poems” as a teaching tool for the subjects “Literature” or “Creative Writing”. The event will be moderated by Ľubica Kepštová and is intended for the broad public, for children, as well as adults, for all those feeling the desire to write poems.
