THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BOOKS OF SLOVAKIA 2024

EXHIBITION OF HONOURED AND SHORT-LISTED WORKS FROM THE 2024 NATIONAL COMPETITION AND SELECTED BOOKS FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG ADULTS HONOURED AS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BOOKS 1992-2023. The competition builds on a tradition dating back to 1965, created to encourage the artistic aspects and qualities of book printing. The Most Beautiful Books of Slovakia aim to support and honour the highest aesthetic and technical attributes of book publications marketed in Slovakia, focusing on the visual and graphical aspects, complexity of the designer’s approach and their harmonious interplay with the book’s contents. The institution behind the idea of the competition and its primary organiser is BIBIANA, the International House of Art for Children. BIBIANA partnered with the Slovak Printing Association and the Slovak National Library for this event.
