CHILDREN’S BOOKS DAYS 2025 COMING TO BRATISLAVA!
In May, Bratislava will turn into the capital of children’s literature. This year, the 35th nationwide festival Children’s Books Days organised by BIBIANA, the International House of Art for Children, will be hosted by the Ružinov Library from 15 to 17 May 2025.
The festival celebrates children’s books, creativity, and fantasy. Come see inspiring authors and illustrators and immerse yourself in the unique world of books for children. True to its motto ”from one fairytale to another”, the event offers many activities for children and adults – discussions with popular authors, creative workshops, readings, theatre performances, and many more.
The activities will take place in two outposts of the Ružinov Library: in Miletičova Street and Bachova Street – both venues have recently undergone a tasteful and major refurbishment. The festival is organised by BIBIANA, the International House of Art for Children, in cooperation with the Ružinov Library, under the auspices of the Slovak Section of IBBY.
