In 2025, the Bratislava Biennial of Illustrations, a unique and prestigious international event in the field of picture books for children and young people, will celebrate its significant anniversary. However, the 30th edition of BIB is also a recapitulation of the biennial's development over the past six decades.
The exhibition maps and presents all the important milestones in the development of BIB. It features a gallery of the most important personalities, both domestic and foreign, who have participated in individual editions of BIB, heads of IBBY, UNESCO, UNICEF, and other major international organizations, members of international juries, participants in BIB symposia and international workshops, award-winning illustrators, and reproductions of 29 illustrations that won the highest award, the BIB Grand Prix. It also presents key figures, founders, supporters, creators, implementers, and organizers of the Bratislava Biennial.
