The exhibition presents a selection from the rich body of work of the Vojvodina-based visual artist of Slovak nationality, Michal Kiráľ. It introduces an artist who, despite his remarkable talent and significant presence on the Vojvodina art scene, remains relatively little known within the Slovak cultural context. Kiráľ has made an important contribution to the visual arts of the Lowland Slovaks as a painter, graphic artist, illustrator, and educator. His work was created under the complex social conditions of the 1980s and 1990s and continues to captivate audiences with its professionalism, personal expression, and timeless artistic language.
