The BIBIANA Library, in collaboration with the International Board on Books for Young People (IBBY), will present exceptional books about children with disabilities from the IBBY and BIBIANA collections.
An interactive exhibition where young visitors learn about the lives of their peers with special needs. Through a game in which they complete tasks from the perspective of a child with a disability, they get to know the heroes of these exceptional books. The 2017 selection from the International Board on Books for Young People (IBBY) is complemented by titles from the BIBIANA Library’s collection. Visitors can browse through a diverse mix of books from around the world—whether they are literary portraits of children and young people with various types of disabilities, books in Braille, books with tactile illustrations, or easy-to-read books.
