The interactive exhibition Hello! Danube presents the Danube not only as a border between countries, but above all as a river full of stories and encounters. The Danube winds through the entire exhibition like a path along which visitors walk, stopping at selected points along its course to discover it not only as a natural phenomenon but also as a living space that connects people, landscapes, and cultures.
The Danube is presented as a dynamic element that is constantly changing—it is not for nothing that they say you cannot step into the same river twice. It’s close to us, but do we really know it? The exhibition therefore invites visitors to discover the various forms of the Danube and the landscapes along its banks within the Danube Gallery, as well as the opportunity to earn a Little Danube Captain’s Certificate.
The exhibition is intended for children ages 5 and up.
