Did you know that the deep waters of the Danube are home to true athletes and river heroes? Join us to find out why the Danube carp has larger fins than its pond cousins and why the vimba can no longer swim all the way here. We’ll create a large-scale collage of the “prakapra,” a fish that prefers to swim in the current rather than lie in the mud, or we’ll bring the river giants—the legendary sturgeons—back to life. (For children ages 5 and up)
