„Film Poems and Songs“ is a dynamic exhibition showcasing two captivating cycles of animated short films, which beautifully translate the works of contemporary Hungarian poets into a visual medium. These films were meticulously crafted by graduates of the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design Budapest (MOME) as part of their „incubation“ program, which encourages the development of innovative and high-quality animations. The project spotlights the literary contributions of celebrated Hungarian authors such as Krisztina Tóth, Judit Ágnes Kiss, Ottó Kiss, János Lackfi, and Varró Dániel, whose works are transformed into vibrant animated stories that resonate deeply with children.
The conceptualization of this project emphasized the creation of a high production standard, aiming to enhance the visibility and appeal of contemporary children’s literature through the evocative medium of animation.
