On the occasion of The SR Constitution Day, a public holiday in Slovakia, The Embassy of the SR in Washington, organised a reception on 16th September 2010. Pamela Quanrud, the Deputy Assistant at the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs of the USA and over 320 guests accepted the invitation of the ambassador SR Peter Burian. Part of the reception was a presentation of 26 illustrations by 15 Slovak illustrators awarded at the Biennial of Illustrations Bratislava 1967-2009 at the Gallery of Koloman Sokol at The Embassy of the SR.
