Over the 44 years that the BIB has been in existence, this depository has collected hundreds of original illustrations by renowned Slovakian as well as foreign illustrators. Many of them have been awarded prestigious BIB prizes – Grand Prix, Golden Apples, and BIB Plaques. Altogether, there are works by 51 book illustrators coming from 22 countries stored in the BIB archives. This year’s exposition presents over 60 of their works.
