The Children´s Day 2006 at BIBIANA was organised in two parts.
First part: visiting three interactive expositions, creative workshops accompanying the displays, presentations of two children books, and creative workshops on costume production.
The second part: workshops - production of costumes, presentation of fairy tales by H. C. Andersen, presentation of the Slovakia's Most Beautiful and Best Children´s Books of Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter 2005 awards, procession in the costumes and fancy dresses in the streets of Bratislava, and ceremonial uncovering of the H. C. Andersen statue on the Hviezdoslavovo Square.
