Biennial of Animation Bratislava Awards

The Bratislava Animation Biennial (BAB) is an international festival of animated films for children, organized by BIBIANA, the International House of Art for Children, since 1991.

The main festival awards are the Prix Klingsor and the Albín Brunovský Honorary Medal, presented to distinguished individuals for their lifetime achievement. In addition, an international jury selects outstanding children’s films from the submitted entries and presents awards to their creators, including the Viktor Kubal Award, the UNICEF Award, the St. Vojtech Award, the Literary Fund Prize, and the Special Jury Prize. Festival screenings are also voted on by child audiences, who present the Children’s Audience Award.
